Board of Directors
ISMA’s Board of Directors is made up of members who are senior security executives from major multinational companies around the world. The Board proudly serves ISMA, developing and setting strategic direction to support the mission and vision of the association. Board members provide ISMA valuable counsel throughout extraordinary situations from their considerable management experience.
Niall MacGinnis, Sky, President of the Board of Directors
Niall is the Group Director of Security at Sky. He has over 30 years' experience in British Government and private sector security roles. He previously served as the Global Security Director for Diageo and as a regional security for the Royal Bank of Scotland. He has extensive international and emerging markets experience. He has been an ISMA member since 2009 and previously served as a Board Director between 2016 and 2019, when he chaired the ISMA Audit Committee, and was appointed President of the Board in 2025.
George McCloskey, Impossible Foods, First Vice President of the Board of Directors
George is Vice President of Safety and Security at Impossible Foods. George has over 33 years of experience ranging from law enforcement to some of the best known, fast-growth start-ups as a CSO. He has been an ISMA member since 2011, is currently the First Vice President of the Board, and previously chaired the ISMA Finance Committee, and served on the ISMA Education Committee.

Marcelo Rodriguez, Assurant, Inc., Second Vice President of the Board of Directors
Marcelo is the Vice President and Global Security and Resilience Officer at Assurant, Inc. He has 30 years of experience ranging from law enforcement to corporate security and resiliency. Prior to Assurant, he was the Vice President, Global Security at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He joined ISMA in 2018, currently serves as the Second Vice President of the Board, and has been a Board Director since 2022.
Wayne Hendricks, Macquarie Group, Secretary of the Board of Directors
Wayne is the Managing Director and Head of Global Security at Macquarie Group. He has over 30 years' of corporate security, law enforcement and military experience. Before joining Macquarie, he lead executive protection for Goldman Sachs International and prior to that he was the Protection Team Leader for President Nelson Mandela. He has been an ISMA member since 2014, a Board Director since 2021, and currently serves as the Secretary of the Board, and previously chaired the ISMA Education Committee.

Caliph (Cal) Mathis, S&P Global, Treasurer of the Board of Directors
Cal is the Chief Security Officer for S&P Global. He has over 35 years’ experience in the public and private sector. Prior to S&P Global, Cal was appointed by the mayor of New York City to the position of Deputy Commissioner and Sheriff, City of New York. Cal joined ISMA in 2018, is the current Treasurer of the Board, currently serves on the ISMA Audit Committee, and has been a Board Director since 2022.
Erik Antons, PPG Industries
Erik is the Global Director for Global Security at PPG Industries and has over 35 years of experience in security and business management. Previously, he was the Chief Security Officer at Whirlpool and before that, Hyatt Hotels. Erik began his security management career as a Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service, U.S. Dept. of State. Erik has been a member of ISMA since 2018 and a Board Director since 2025.
Ryan DeStefano, Keurig Dr Pepper
Ryan is the Senior Security Director at Keurig Dr Pepper. He has 25 years of diverse and multi-sector experience in corporate security and crisis management. Prior to KDP he led all global assistance operations services for On Call International and served in senior security roles within Liberty Mutual Insurance and Procter and Gamble. He has been an ISMA member since 2021 serving as the chair on multiple annual member meetings and currently sits on the External Relations committee. He has been a Board Director since 2025.

Lana Djurkin-König
Lana has over 20 years of experience in national, international and corporate security. She has previously served as Group Head of Corporate Security and Crisis Management at Swiss Re, regional director of Security for Ernst & Young, and as strategic intelligence unit coordinator for the DHL Group. Prior to her private sector experience, she has been working for the government and NATO in Afghanistan. She has been an ISMA member since 2021, a Board Director since 2024, and formerly member of ISMA’s Education Committee.
Paul Kay, Western Union
Paul is currently the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Western Union. He has 25 years of experience in law enforcement, corporate security, information security, privacy, compliance, and systemic risk. Previously, he held roles at EchoStar, MillerCoors, and other Fortune 500 and 100 companies. Preceding his work in private industry, Paul served in several U.S. law enforcement agencies, culminating in working as an organized crime and major case detective and 9/11 terrorism task force. Paul joined ISMA in 2010 and has been a Board Director since 2022.
Roy Lemons, International Paper
Roy is currently the Chief Security Officer at International Paper. He has 40 years of security experience ranging from corporate security and federal law enforcement to military service. He is a retired agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation preceded by service in the US Army. He maintains board certifications in security risk management and information security risk management. He has been a member of ISMA since 2019 and a Board Director since 2025.

Kirsten Meskill, Solventum
Kirsten has nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate security preceded by service in the US Army. She previously served in Corporate Security at Bed Bath & Beyond, as the Director, Corporate Security at BASF Corporation, as the Chief Security Officer at Kraft Foods & Mondelez International, and with the Philip Morris and Altria security departments. Kirsten has been an ISMA member since 2011, and served as President of the Board from 2024 - 2025.
Geoff Shank, Abbott
Geoff is the Divisional Vice President of Global Security for Abbott and has over 30 years’ experience in policing, intelligence, diplomacy, and security. Previously, he directed the Investigative Operations Division for the United States Marshals Service and was the Senior Executive Service agency head of INTERPOL for the U.S. National Bureau. He has been an ISMA member since 2017, a Board Director since 2020, and is chair of ISMA’s External Relations and Audit Committees.
Julia Vincke, BASF Group
Julia is the Vice President of Security at BASF Group and has over 25 years’ experience ranging from federal law enforcement to corporate security. Her previous roles included ones in several commercial enterprises including the retail, automotive and chemical sector. She has been an ISMA member since 2018 and a Board Director since 2023.
